Marilyn Monroe is a staple in all things glamour, beauty and icon. In this fun filled day, we are celebrating her 100th birthday by getting out the fan and giving YOU the chance to get that windswept look yourself. Open to anyone - you don’t have to LOOK like Marilyn to embody her glamour.

Expect hands-on fun, supportive staff and a fun filled day whether you're alone or with a group. Meet with like minded people to celebrate all things glamour and Marilyn Monroe before stepping onto set to strike a pose.

What to expect

You will receive a booking confirmation with the timings of your appointment/s. Then you will get communication from your photographer to gather more information about what you want from the event. We will ask you if you have any access requirements, what sort of photos you want and if you have a particular reason for booking.

You will arrive at your given appointment time and be met by a member of our team and given a friendly welcome as we show you around the premises. We give you space to get settled with a glass of Prosecco. We will make sure you have a laugh and enjoy your day, whether you’re with a group or on your own.

You may have chosen the option to have your hair and makeup done. If so, you will have been given the time slots for these appointments prior to the event. Our amazing beauty team will take care of everything for you and make sure you look extra beautiful for the camera.

You will be taken into the studio to meet your photographer who will tell you how the photoshoot is going to go and help you get comfortable and feeling your best. Then it’s time to strike a pose and embrace your inner Marilyn.

On the day you will have the option to book a photo viewing or an online viewing. It will be explained how you choose your photos and how to book add-ons should you want them. Once you have picked your photos - you will receive them within 2 weeks.
Where will it be?
The event will take place at a photography studio in the centre of Manchester City. It will be easily accessible and walkable from Market street.

With enough notice, we will do everything we can to ensure the event runs smoothly for people of all abilities.

Once you have attended the event, no refunds can be issued. However, should you have purchased a photo package and decide you no longer want that amount of photos - we may be able to provide partial refunds.

For Photoshoot only, we require 7 days notice. If you have added hair and/or makeup, we require 14 days notice.
